April is here! Springtime is in full swing in some corners of the world, and autumn in some others. As with the start of any month, we announce the next installment of our “Thank You Workmate“, employee recognition initiative.
Today, we acknowledge the excellent work of Mikha, an Alarm Response Associate for a U.S.-based technology company. Her main responsibility is to monitor alerts daily and compile reservations.
Here’s what Mikha’s client said about her value to the team:
She is the backbone of the weekday squad. She’s independent, attentive and quick to action. She provided some awesome feedback to our team on ways to improve the product and is an amazing asset to the team.
Congrats for the recognition, Mikha. You deserve it!
How Mikha did it
When it comes to the best practices that helped her perform, Mikha said this:
It’s better to overcommunicate rather than to under-communicate.
Not everyone knows what you’re doing and not everyone gets the same information as you, especially if your team works in different shifts. Everything just becomes harmonious when everyone is informed and empowered to ask questions!
The two best practices I was able to share was honesty and giving feedback. I believe that these two go hand in hand.
It’s important to be honest so that your team doesn’t have to guess and you don’t waste anyone’s time.
Additionally, feedback is important for the company to grow, whether it may be for each individual or for the applications your team is using.”
