“I think the best practice I have learned is to make connections with others a priority. Working as a community assistant, it’s imperative to work with the team efficiently, listen to clients attentively, and ask the right questions. Building a good relationship with the team and clients is very essential.
As community assistants, our role is very complex and we learn every day because every situation we deal with is unique. I think sharing new knowledge or information in the team is deemed to be helpful, especially for those new hires. Therefore, it lessens their time to look for answers in case a similar situation comes up.”
