These mechanisms of motivation can take many forms, and it is important to maintain a certain level of enthusiasm within a company. You don’t really have to go as far as Google to motivate workers, it is enough to know the basics of what makes your workers happy. If you’re working with an outsourcing company, it’s important to keep them motivated because they’re doing your work for you, after all.
Praise. While mistakes are unavoidable at times, outsourcing companies often want to do their best to answer your business process demands. A little word of encouragement here and there can go a long way. Work on the positive points of their work, and instruct them on how to do your tasks better.
Compensation. Outsourcing companies may provide their services at extremely low rates, but this doesn’t mean that you should shortchange them. Pay them what you think they’re worth, and if they do the job well, then go ahead and give them a little bonus –just something to get them by after working through the wee hours of the night.
Recognition. Of course, everyone wants recognition –it’s one of the most basic of human needs. Promote the company’s services to other people if they do a job well. Not only will they appreciate it, but their business will also expand through that little bit of effort. While it’s nice to receive, it’s also better to give something back in this way.
Remember that those working in outsourcing companies are people too. Praise them, compensate them well, and give them the recognition they deserve. You’ll be glad you did so in the long run.
