What type of tasks can Remote Workmate’s Virtual Assistants complete?
Tasks range from data entry to desktop application programming, from booking hotels for a vacation to running an AdWords campaign. Our Virtual Assistants can complete various tasks as long as they don’t require the use of special devices or hardware. Don’t forget you can contact us at any time if you are still unsure whether a virtual assistant can take care of the tasks you want to outsource.

Do you have contracts?
We have an agreement that sets the terms and conditions expected of both parties but there is no “lock in period”. We run on a month to month basis, and you can cancel anytime.

How do I set it up?
Go to our contact page and send us a message. Once you complete this step, our Senior Managers will get back to you in order to understand all of your requirements. Once we confirm that we can find you a dedicated staff member or an entire team, an agreement will be emailed to you. Within 7 days of signing up, your dedicated virtual assistant/s will be ready to proceed. You can then start allocating tasks.

Do you allow hourly services?
We focus only on part-time and full-time jobs, but if you’re interested in hiring home based Filipino professionals for a few projects and don’t know where to start, email us and we’ll guide you in finding the perfect service for your needs.

How long does it take to start the services?
We’re ready to present the first job candidates for your consideration in a few hours or a few days, depending on your requirements. Usually you can have the new employee start working for you in a week.

Where is my Virtual Assistant located?
The home based Filipino professionals that we’re recruiting, hiring and managing for Western companies usually live in Manila, Davao City or Cebu City. We also have an office for the clients that asked for their new employees to work in a dedicated office space. This Remote Workmate office is located in Clark, near Mabalacat City, in the Philippines.

What are your business hours?
Remote Workmate has the capacity to offer clients the service of remote assistants 24 hours a day, 5 days a week. We just need to know what business hours do you want your new virtual assistant to cover before we start our recruitment process. Extra hourly rates may apply for weekends or off-normal business hours.

What can you do about time zone differences?
Our team is located on two continents, so we can cover almost all time zones when our clients need our help.  And since clients tell us from the beginning what is the time zone they want a virtual assistant to cover, we can recruit only the candidates that are happy with the advertised work schedule.

Do you work on weekends or holidays if the tasks are urgent?
We make every effort to accommodate your urgent tasks. If necessary, your virtual assistants will work 24/7 with holidays and weekends included, so you can meet your deadline. Additional fees may apply.

How do you deliver finished results?
After a virtual assistant finishes your assigned tasks, he will email them to you or use a FTP solution for larger files.

How do we communicate?
We contact our clients through email, or instant messaging using Skype & Basecamp (project management software). You can use additional tools to communicate with your virtual assistants if you think it’s necessary.

Can the staff communicate well?
Most if not all Filipinos are highly proficient in English, and our recruitment team also makes sure that one of the necessary qualifications for job applicants is excellent communication skills.

How do you protect your clients’ privacy?
Protecting the privacy and security of our clients’ personal and business information is one of our main priorities. We do not share any client information with anyone and we have monitoring software in place to ensure confidential information does not get leaked. We are also more than happy to sign a NDA if the client so desires.

What kind of payment method do you accept?
We currently accept payment through PayPal only. We prefer payment through PayPal, because it is free to our clients.

What is your refund policy?
If you are not satisfied with our services, you will receive a prorated refund. For our Full Time Monthly Plan, a prorated refund will be calculated on a daily basis. For our Part Time Monthly Plan, a prorated refund will be calculated on an hourly basis.
